Senior Network Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, deploy, maintain enterprise and service-provider network infra across on-prem, colocation
• Configure/operate BGP, OSPF, other routing protocols; route policies, filtering, TE.
• Manage upstream transit, peering, internet exchange, routing relationships.
• Plan IPv4/IPv6 addressing, dual-stack, ARIN/RIR resources, IRR, BGP route validation (RPKI).
• Implement network security controls: segmentation, firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, DDoS mitigation.
• Deploy/operate monitoring, observability platforms for health and performance.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in production network engineering; strong technical ownership.
• Expert TCP/IP, BGP; at least one IGP (OSPF/IS-IS/EIGRP).
• Strong routing/switching: VLANs, trunking, STP, LAG, QoS, MTU.
• Hands-on with Cisco/NX-OS, Juniper, Arista, MikroTik or equivalent.
• Firewall/IPsec/WireGuard/SSL VPNs, tunneling, NACs experience.
• DNS/DHCP/NTP, TLS/PKI, load balancing; IPv4/IPv6 addressing.
