Senior Network Engineer

📋 Description

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and support DigiCert global production network.
• Serve as first responder for network incidents and operational requests.
• Monitor health, performance, and availability of the production network.
• Review logs, alerts, and monitoring systems to identify issues.
• Troubleshoot network, DNS, load balancing, and connectivity across data centers and cloud.
• Collaborate with ISPs, carriers, cloud providers, app teams, DBAs, and vendors to resolve issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in enterprise, service provider, or data center networks.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing and switching, VLANs, network segmentation, firewall concepts, VPNs.
• Understanding of routing protocols and route troubleshooting.
• Experience with network monitoring, logging, observability platforms, and incident response.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to work with cross-functional teams and on-call rotations.
