Senior Network Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, deploy and manage Megaport’s global network infrastructure.
• Plan network deployments, upgrades, and data centre onboarding.
• Configure and deploy Cisco and Juniper networking gear remotely.
• Develop Cloud On‑Ramp connectivity with AWS, Azure, Oracle.
• Ensure high availability, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Escalate and resolve major incidents, mentor junior engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in large‑scale network deployments and operations.
• Strong routing and MPLS experience: BGP, ISIS, MPLS TE, MPLS L2/L3 VPN.
• Production experience with Juniper and Cisco platforms.
• Data centre network infra deployment/troubleshooting.
• Fibre optics and DWDM familiarity; cloud networking and SDN concepts.
• Programming/scripting knowledge (Python, Perl, Linux) desirable.
