Senior Perception Hardware Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the link between the physical world and Apollo's autonomy stack for multi-modal perception.
• Design calibration hardware fixtures and write calibration algorithms for intrinsic, extrinsic, and
• Develop scalable factory processes for calibrating a multi-sensor humanoid head in production and
• Collaborate with electrical/embedded teams to ensure sub-microsecond sensor synchronization across
• Build end-to-end calibration pipelines and auto-calibration routines to detect drift and adapt

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in perception hardware, computer vision, or robotics focusing on sensor calibration and
• Strong foundation in 3D geometry, linear algebra, SE(3), quaternions, and non-linear optimization
• Proficiency in Python and C++; experience with OpenCV, PCL, and optimization frameworks (Ceres
