📋 Description

• Join a remote-first Grafana team building a new Foundation's “Metal” squad.
• Provide a Kubernetes control plane and resources outside public Cloud.
• Manage physical metal environment and cluster networking components.
• Handle scheduling, autoscaling, Terraform/Crossplane modules, and CSP resources.
• Collaborate with Grafana Cloud users to align capabilities with needs.
• Operate in a distributed, autonomous, open-source culture.

🎯 Requirements

• Go, Python, and Shell experience in platform engineering.
• Experience operating code with datacenter exposure and on-call rotations.
• Familiar with Crossplane, Terraform, Kubernetes, Cross-Cluster ops.
• Bonus: Cluster-API, Tinkerbell, Talos, Ceph, AWS/GCP/Azure CSPs, Tanka, Jsonnet, Karpenter.
• Strong collaboration, remote-first communication, and growth mindset.
• Open source background is a plus; OSS is part of Grafana DNA.
