Senior Platform Manager, Data Products, Finance Accounting

📋 Description

• Own the finance accounting platform, serving as the single accountable owner.
• Define and drive the long-term platform roadmap to scale with Airbnb's products.
• Lead end-to-end product changes from impact assessment to production release.
• Strengthen data monitoring, support month-end close, automate manual workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Data Engineering, FP&A, Treasury, Tax.
• Translate complex product changes into clear accounting workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years platform/product/TPM with finance data focus; Bachelor's or Master's in CS/IS/Accounting/Finance or related field.
• ASC 606 revenue recognition expertise for multi-product marketplaces.
• End-to-end accounting workflows across quote-to-cash, including reporting.
• Strong SQL skills; large datasets; data integrity across close cycles.
• Data pipelines knowledge including batch/streaming, data lake vs warehouse; Oracle FAH/ERP familiarity.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration; proficient with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom.
