Senior Power System Engineer - ERCOT Interconnection

📋 Description

• Lead ERCOT interconnection studies and lifecycle activities
• Guide interconnection strategy for generation and transmission projects
• Perform EMT studies, dynamic impact analyses, and model benchmarking
• Create and tune PSS/E, PSCAD, and TSAT models for renewables and storage
• Mentor junior engineers and support engineering capability development
• Represent the organization in technical meetings and industry events

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as a Power Systems Engineer in generation/transmission interconnection
• Strong ERCOT interconnection process knowledge; ISO experience a plus
• Hands-on PSCAD and PSS/E modeling
• ERCOT Model Quality Testing (MQT) experience
• EMT studies, dynamic simulations, advanced grid impact analyses
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
