📋 Description

  • Lead execution of tax equity and preferred equity investments from term sheet through close.
  • Identify, structure, price, and document transaction risk to a high standard.
  • Serve as technical authority on partnership structures and tax/capital basis issues.
  • Prepare and present opportunities to the Investment Committee for screening and decisioning.
  • Lead negotiations with sponsors and capital partners, including difficult counterparties.
  • Review and pressure-test complex partnership/hybrid models with Legal, Tax, Risk.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Environmental Studies or related field
  • 10-12+ years in renewable energy, structured finance, or infrastructure investing; direct tax
  • Strong command of partnership structures and tax/capital basis issues (DROs, basis, allocations
  • Breadth across core technologies (solar, wind, storage); exposure to emerging categories.
  • Excellent risk judgment and ability to price/document risk.
  • Leadership in negotiating transaction documents and complex models.
