📋 Description

• Lead ML Platform infrastructure shaping Toast's AI capabilities
• Own architecture across feature store, model hosting, serving, and training
• Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, product, and infra leadership
• Drive scalable, reliable, low-latency ML systems and experimentation
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering quality
• Translate ML strategy into technical roadmaps

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years delivering backend or infra systems at scale
• Experience building/operating ML infrastructure: feature stores, model serving, experimentation
• Mastery of a modern backend language, ideally Java or Kotlin
• Distributed systems expertise: consistency, latency, throughput, observability
• Strong data modeling and online/offline data patterns for ML systems
• Technical leadership with cross-team influence
