Senior Product Designer

📋 Description

• You will be FORT’s first full-time designer, building the design platform from 0→1 across hardware
• Define how people interact with hardware, software, and autonomous systems that run on both.
• Collaborate with Product, Firmware, Software, Hardware, and Operations to translate constraints

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in product or interaction design, with at least 2 years in hardware-software environments
• Built a design system or component library from scratch.
• Experience in physical interaction design for hardware state, safety, and user communication.
• Field research experience in real-world environments (contextual inquiry, operator shadowing
• Proficient in Figma or equivalent and capable of prototyping complex, multi-step workflows
• AI-first mindset: uses AI tools to accelerate design, prototyping, and research synthesis as
