Senior Product Manager, APIs

📋 Description

• Own API-focused product area end to end, incl strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and experience.
• Partner with Engineering Leads/Staff Engineers on architecture, direction, and decisions.
• Form independent technical opinions; prototype and validate with hands-on work.
• Design and maintain API products: contracts, versioning, compatibility, integration, DX.
• Work with payroll, HR, fintech teams to translate complex needs into scalable solutions.
• Monitor adoption and outcomes post-launch; document decisions and proposals.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven PM in a high-growth environment, ideally B2B/complex tech.
• Strong technical depth; engage with engineers on APIs, system design, trade-offs.
• Hands-on with Cursor and/or Claude Code to build/debug prototypes.
• Experience owning API-first products: contracts, versioning, DX.
• Payroll/HR/fintech domain knowledge is highly valuable.
• Strong written/spoken English; able to work remotely in async environment.
