Senior Product Manager, APIs

📋 Description

• Own the API-focused product area end to end: strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and post-launch
• Collaborate with Engineering Leads on architecture, technical direction, and implementation
• Prototype and validate ideas with hands-on experimentation using AI-native tools where appropriate.
• Design and maintain API products: contracts, versioning, backward compatibility, integrations, and
• Work with payroll, tax, operations, and finance teams to translate complex requirements into
• Monitor adoption and outcomes, ensuring ongoing value after release.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven Product Manager in a high-growth environment, preferably B2B or complex platforms.
• Strong technical depth; comfortable with APIs, system design, and architecture trade-offs.
• Hands-on proficiency with Cursor and/or Claude Code to build/debug prototypes.
• Experience owning API-first products, including contracts, versioning, and developer experience.
• Experience in payroll/HR/benefits/fintech domains is highly valuable.
• Strong strategic and tactical judgment; able to prioritize with clear focus.
