Senior Product Manager, APIs

📋 Description

• Own the API-focused product area end to end: strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and post-launch
• Collaborate with Engineering Leads on architecture, technical direction, and implementation
• Prototype with hands-on experimentation to validate assumptions.
• Design and maintain API contracts, versioning, backward compatibility, and developer experience.
• Understand workflows with specialists to identify root causes and impactful problems.
• Translate complex requirements with cross-functional teams into scalable solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven Product Manager in a high-growth environment, ideally B2B or complex platforms.
• Strong technical depth; can discuss APIs, system design, and trade-offs with engineers.
• Hands-on proficiency with Cursor and/or Claude Code to build/debug/ship functional code or
• Experience owning API-first products including contracts, versioning, and developer experience.
• Experience in payroll, HR, benefits, fintech, or similar domains is valuable.
• Strategic and tactical judgment with clear prioritization.
