Senior Product Manager, APIs

📋 Description

• Own API-focused product area end to end: strategy, roadmap, delivery, adoption, and long-term
• Collaborate with Engineering Leads on architecture, technical direction, and implementation
• Prototype and validate assumptions with hands-on experimentation using AI tools where appropriate.
• Design and maintain API contracts, versioning, backward compatibility, and developer experience.
• Work with payroll, HR, operations, and other teams to translate complex requirements into scalable
• Monitor adoption and outcomes post-launch to ensure ongoing value.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven Product Manager experience in high-growth environments, ideally B2B or complex tech
• Strong technical depth; comfortable engaging with engineers on APIs, system design, and trade-offs.
• Hands-on proficiency with Cursor and/or Claude Code to build/debug ship functional code or
• Experience owning API-first products: contracts, versioning, integration, developer experience.
• Valuable domain experience in payroll, HR, benefits, fintech, or related workflows.
• Strong strategic/tactical judgment and ability to prioritize with scope in mind.
