Senior Product & Regulatory Counsel - Investment Products

📋 Description

• Senior legal advisor for Mercury Treasury and Mercury Invest non-deposit investment products.
• Partner with product, compliance, risk, engineering, and operations from ideation to launch.
• Support regulatory matters, disclosures, and content for marketing and communications.
• Advise on product life cycle, disclosures, and operational matters with regulatory impact.
• Utilize AI tools in legal workflows to drive efficiency and smarter processes.
• Translate regulatory concepts into clear narratives for teams and external audiences.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years legal experience, with at least 2 years on non-deposit investment products.
• Familiarity with Investment Advisers Act, Securities Act, Investment Company Act, Regulation Best
• In-house experience preferred; exposure to regulatory agencies is a plus.
• Excellent communication; capable of tailoring messages to audiences and contexts.
• Proactive ownership; willingness to own issues and find answers.
• Strong knowledge of AI use cases in legal/fintech contexts; interest in efficiency.
