Senior Production Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the support and escalation path for the trading platform with a named owner on every issue.
• Provide daily support coverage from 7:30am Eastern through market close.
• Investigate production issues to root cause across the technology stack.
• Work with clients, PMMs, exchanges, and brokers to troubleshoot questions.
• Own platform configuration: onboarding, FIX sessions, environments, reference data.
• Make configuration changes safe, repeatable and documented.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience in financial trading systems with OMS and the FIX Protocol.
• 3+ years in production or software engineering, including automation.
• Strong Python; ability to read and debug C++.
• Deep experience with Linux-based apps: logs, tracing, debugging, perf analysis.
• SQL, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Fluent with AI-assisted tools in production/development workflows.
