Senior Project Engineer, Energy Storage Advisory

📋 Description

• Lead technical due-diligence reviews for energy storage, solar-plus-storage, and hybrid renewables
• Review EPC, interconnection, PPA, O&M, and other agreements to identify risks
• Analyze financial models: CAPEX, OPEX, warranties, degradation, performance
• Evaluate energy storage use cases, dispatch strategies, and market conditions
• Prepare Independent Engineering and Technical Advisory reports
• Integrate engineering, financial, environmental inputs into client deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in engineering, physics, or related; advanced degree preferred
• At least 4 years in renewable energy, storage, or related field
• Experience reviewing contracts and financial models for energy projects
• Strong project finance, risk assessment, and bankability knowledge
• Commercial awareness of how technical/contract factors affect value
• North American storage market knowledge; cross-disciplinary collaboration
