Design and maintain scalable distributed backend services with Python and Django
Architect distributed systems for millions of users with low latency and high availability
Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to ship features quickly
Lead and mentor junior engineers through reviews and architecture discussions
Own backend components: APIs, data pipelines, Kafka, caching

🎯 Requirements

5+ years of Python backend development with ownership and delivery
Django experience with asyncio
Production experience with Apache Kafka
Docker containers; Kubernetes a plus
AWS preferred
PostgreSQL proficiency
