Senior Python Engineer

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of backend services from design through deployment and maintenance
• Design and maintain scalable distributed backend services with Python and Django
• Architect distributed systems to support millions of users with low latency
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to ship features on tight timelines
• Lead and mentor junior engineers via code reviews and architecture discussions
• Own APIs, data pipelines, message queues (Kafka), and caching

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python backend development with ownership and delivery
• Django experience with asynchronous programming (asyncio)
• Production experience with Apache Kafka
• Strong experience with distributed systems (microservices)
• Docker experience; Kubernetes a plus
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS preferred)
