Senior Python Engineer

📋 Description

• Take ownership of backend services from design to deployment and maintenance.
• Design and maintain scalable distributed backend services with Python and Django.
• Architect distributed systems for millions of users with low latency.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to ship features on tight timelines.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Own APIs, data pipelines, Kafka, and caching infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python backend experience with ownership and delivery.
• Solid Django experience with asyncio-based async programming.
• Production experience with Apache Kafka.
• Strong distributed systems (microservices) experience.
• Experience deploying containers (Docker); Kubernetes a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS preferred).
