Senior QA Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end quality for payment journeys and transactions.
• Design API-first test strategies for REST, JSON, HTTP, and transactions.
• Build/maintain automated API and UI tests with Playwright, RestAssured, or similar.
• Develop reusable automation components (API clients, test data builders).
• Test integrations with payment processors and Open Banking services.
• Investigate incidents, reproduce defects, analyze logs and traces.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven QA/automation experience with ownership of complex systems.
• Hands-on REST API testing (HTTP, JSON, validation, API workflows).
• Backend systems, distributed services, integration patterns.
• Experience with Playwright, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Diagnose issues via logs, DBs, API traces; debugging skills.
• Asynchronous systems, callbacks, queues, retries patterns.
