Senior QA Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end quality for payment flows and critical transactions.
• Design API-first test strategies for REST/JSON and complex lifecycles.
• Build and maintain automated API and selective UI tests (Playwright, RestAssured).
• Develop reusable automation components and utilities.
• Test integrations with external providers, including asynchronous scenarios.
• Investigate incidents, reproduce defects, analyze logs, and aid root-cause analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in QA/automation with ownership of complex systems.
• Hands-on testing of REST APIs (HTTP, JSON, validations).
• Strong understanding of backend/distributed systems and integration patterns.
• Practical experience with Playwright, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Ability to diagnose issues via logs, DBs, API traces, and debugging tools.
• Understanding asynchronous systems, callbacks, queues, polling, retries, and failure handling.
