Senior QA Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end quality for critical payment journeys and transactions.
• Design and execute API-first test strategies for REST, JSON, HTTP, and complex lifecycles.
• Build, maintain, and improve automated API and selective UI tests using Playwright or RestAssured.
• Develop reusable automation components (API clients, test data builders, utilities).
• Test integrations with external providers (payment processors, Open Banking) including callbacks
• Investigate production incidents, reproduce defects, analyze logs and traces, support RCAs.

• Proven experience in QA engineering, test automation, or related quality role with ownership of
• Hands-on testing of REST APIs (HTTP, JSON, request/response validation, API-driven workflows).
• Strong understanding of backend systems, distributed services, and integration patterns.
• Practical experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright or RestAssured.
