Senior QA Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end quality for critical payment journeys, deposits, payouts, reconciliation, and other
• Design and execute API-first test strategies for REST, JSON, HTTP, and transaction lifecycles.
• Build, maintain, and improve automated API and selective UI test suites using Playwright
• Develop reusable automation components such as API clients, test data builders, and utilities.
• Test integrations with external providers (payment processors, Open Banking) with asynchronous

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in QA engineering or test automation with ownership of complex systems.
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs (HTTP, JSON, request/response validation).
• Strong understanding of backend systems, distributed services, and integration patterns.
• Practical experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, RestAssured, or similar
• Ability to diagnose issues using logs, databases, API traces, and debugging tools.
• Understanding of asynchronous systems, callbacks, queues, polling, retries, and failure handling.
