Senior Qualitative Researcher

📋 Description

• Lead complex qualitative and mixed-methods research initiatives, providing strategic direction and
• Develop qualitative data collection instruments, including interview guides, focus group protocols
• Plan and conduct pilot testing and cognitive testing to validate instruments and improve data
• Design and implement interviewer protocols covering ethics, informed consent, trauma-informed
• Train, certify, and support interviewers via evaluations, mock interviews, and ongoing coaching.
• Conduct QA reviews of research sessions and support continuous improvement of interviewing

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant qualitative research experience, or equivalent
• Experience designing qualitative instruments and conducting pilot and cognitive testing.
• Strong expertise in qualitative methods, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience training/certifying interviewers, including trauma-informed and stigma-aware
• Advanced knowledge of qualitative coding, codebook development, and analysis frameworks.
• Experience supporting research QA processes and maintaining methodological consistency.
