Senior Revenue Accountant

📋 Description

• Oversee revenue recognition across software licensing, subscriptions, professional services
• Contribute to monthly/quarterly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Ensure ASC 606 compliance for multi-element arrangements and contract accounting (modifications
• Manage costs related to obtaining/fulfilling contracts under ASC 340-40; capitalization and
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, FP&A, Tax, Billing, Collections, and Customer Success to resolve
• Identify process improvements to strengthen controls, accuracy, and efficiency in revenue

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with revenue recognition in tech/SaaS.
• Deep ASC 606 knowledge, including multi-element arrangements and contract modifications.
• Hands-on revenue accounting across SaaS, subscriptions, perpetual licensing, services, and
• Strong ASC 340-40 contract cost accounting knowledge.
• Experience with bad debt reserve methodologies and aging analysis.
