Senior Revenue Accountant

📋 Description

• Own and maintain revenue recognition policies per ASC 606.
• Manage revenue journals, roll-forwards, reconciliations, close.
• Handle variable consideration, contract mods, multi-element deals.
• Oversee costs to obtain/fulfill contracts; capitalization & amortization.
• Monitor deferred commissions and contract cost balances.
• Support monthly/quarterly close, variance analysis, docs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years in revenue recognition in tech/SaaS.
• Deep ASC 606 knowledge; multi-element arrangements.
• Experience with SaaS, subscriptions, services, licensing.
• ASC 340-40 contract costs knowledge.
• Bad debt reserve methodologies; aging analysis.
