Senior Security Analyst (Governance and Trust)

📋 Description

• Build the public sector security program to earn and maintain trust with government customers.
• Turn federal/public-sector requirements into practical security capabilities.
• Support FedRAMP, CMMC, RMF, and other regimes as Chainguard grows public-sector footprint.
• Develop scalable governance, control ownership, evidence collection, and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with Security, Federal strategy, GTM, Product, Engineering, and Legal to move federal

🎯 Requirements

• Deep technical depth in cloud-native architecture and software development.
• Experience operating in federal/defense environments with decision authority.
• Working knowledge of CMMC Level 2 and at least one of FedRAMP, RMF, or NIST 800-53.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into risk-reducing controls and automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with policy-as-code, GitOps, automated evidence collection, and SBOM concepts.
