Senior Software Engineer, Autonomous Pilot Integration (R5200)

📋 Description

• Develop & Field Autonomy — develop & integrate autonomy software on unmanned platforms
• Collaboration Across Teams — work with Autonomy Capabilities, Perception, feature crews, and
• Pre-deployment Preparation — own build, configuration, and validation; manage hardware/software
• On-site Test & Mission Support — travel to test sites; support live flight tests, range
• Hardware/Software Debugging — diagnose issues across autonomy stacks, payloads, embedded systems
• Mission Data & Debrief — capture data, reproduce issues in simulation, drive fixes into next

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in CS/EE/Mechanical/Aerospace or equivalent experience
• 5+ years with Bachelor's or 4+ with Master’s or 2+ with PhD; equivalent experience accepted
• Proficiency in C++, real-time/latency-sensitive systems
• Linux-based development, embedded systems, shell scripting, diagnostics
• Familiarity with middleware/IPC (DDS, ActiveMQ)
• Hands-on experience with demos/field tests for unmanned systems; autonomy simulation experience
