Senior Software Engineer, Blockchain Platform Nodes

📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer to join CB Node team within Platform org.
• Own performance optimization and reliability across blockchain platform stack.
• Build observability and health-check systems for nodes; enable proactive degradation detection.
• Lead right-sizing across node fleet with capacity models balancing cost and reliability.
• Collaborate with protocol integration, wallet, and indexer teams to extend performance improvements.
• Define and implement SLOs/SLIs for node services to measure reliability without over-provisioning.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience with systems-level performance analysis and production
• Hands-on distributed systems experience at scale; diagnose bottlenecks and manage capacity.
• Backend programming in Go (preferred) and observability tooling (pprof, Datadog, Prometheus
• Proven track record reducing infrastructure costs via engineering optimization and measurable
• Experience with blockchain nodes, consensus protocols, or crypto infrastructure strongly preferred.
• Willingness to responsibly use generative AI with human oversight.

🎁 Benefits

• Base salary range: USD $186,065 – $218,900 (excluding equity/bonus).
