Senior Software Engineer - Grafana Databases, Managed Services

📋 Description

• Operate 100+ multi-cloud streaming clusters and DB infra
• Diagnose cross-layer failures (latency, noisy neighbors, bottlenecks, queries)
• Design safe upgrade and rollout strategies at scale
• Improve observability, automation, and operational ergonomics
• Partner with database/platform teams for safe scaling and query perf
• Serve as primary escalation point and on-call for incidents

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in engineering incl SRE/Platform/Distributed systems
• Production experience with distributed systems (Kafka, WarpStream, Postgres, ClickHouse)
• Kubernetes in AWS/GCP/Azure; IaC tooling (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet)
• Distributed systems design and trade-offs
• Programming in Go or another language
• Linux internals, networking, cloud storage, performance
