Senior Software Engineer - Grafana Databases, Managed Services

📋 Description

• Operate and evolve 100+ multi-cloud streaming clusters
• Diagnose latency, noisy neighbors, and bottlenecks
• Design safe upgrades and rollouts at scale
• Improve observability, automation, and operational ergonomics
• Collaborate with database/platform teams for scaling and performance
• On-call escalation and incident response

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in engineering, SRE, platform, or distributed systems
• Experience operating distributed systems in production (streaming, analytics, storage)
• Kubernetes in AWS/GCP/Azure; IaC tooling (Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet)
• Solid understanding of distributed systems design and trade-offs
• Proficiency in a programming language (Go preferred)
• Linux internals, networking, cloud storage, and performance scaling
• Blameless incident response experience and post-incident reviews
• Clear communicator across teams, autonomous and proactive
