Senior Software Engineer - Grafana Databases, Managed Services | UK | Remote

📋 Description

• Operate and evolve 100+ multi-cloud streaming clusters and DB infra
• Diagnose cross-layer failures (latency, noisy neighbors, bottlenecks)
• Design safe upgrades and rollout strategies at scale
• Improve observability, automation, and operator ergonomics
• Collaborate with DB and platform teams for safe scaling and query perf
• Work with distributed systems, Kubernetes scheduling dynamics

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in SRE/platform/distributed systems
• Production ops for distributed systems (Kafka, Postgres, WarpStream)
• Kubernetes in AWS/GCP/Azure; Helm, Terraform, Jsonnet
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems design and trade-offs
• Proficiency in Go or another language
• Blameless incident response and post-incident reviews
