Senior Software Engineer, Home Experience

📋 Description

• Build delightful feeds for Reddit’s home experience across web and mobile.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers on new features our users will love.
• Own full development cycle: design, develop, test, experiment, launch.
• Contribute to backend service architecture for native clients in a full stack team.
• Promote metrics-led execution and observability in operations.
• Help shape roadmap with leadership and cross-functional partners.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years as a software engineer for user-facing applications.
• Experience with product metrics and experimentation (BigQuery, HEX, Firebase, etc.).
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Go, Swift, Kotlin, Rust, C#.
• Experience leveraging GenAI to boost engineering productivity.
• Experience with ML engineering teams and ML integration is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet schedules.
