📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer I for the Feedback Systems team in DigitalOcean's Agentic AI organization.
• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput backend systems and concurrent asynchronous workflows
• Interface with isolated execution environments and implement scalable APIs (gRPC, REST) to connect
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support complex evaluation scenarios and outcome metrics.
• Drive engineering best practices: code reviews, testing, and technical design documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering with highly concurrent, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Deep proficiency in Python and Go (or strong C++/Java with willingness to learn Python/Go quickly).
• Hands-on experience with durable workflow orchestration engines for distributed state and
• Strong knowledge of containerization/virtualization/secure isolation (Docker, Kubernetes, microVMs).
• Experience building resilient APIs and handling high-throughput event or message data.
• Ownership mindset, strong communication, and ability to work in a globally distributed team.
