Senior Software Engineer II

📋 Description

• Architect, develop, debug, and test firmware features in C/C++ and Golang for Samsara’s
• Build IoT products for the long term and support 1.5+ million devices in the field.
• Design and develop internal observability to ensure health of firmware rollouts.
• Champion Samsara culture and collaborate across multiple teams to scale globally.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with large-scale observability for production systems.
• Experience developing and shipping production code.
• Experience building and monitoring metrics during firmware rollout.
• Experience triaging and assessing customer/QA issues; BS/MS in CS or Engineering.
• Nice to have: C/C++ or Golang, Linux embedded systems, SoC driver work, automotive/telematics
