Senior Software Engineer II (Auth)

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain authentication systems for Bitwarden clients (web, desktop, browser, CLI
• Work on Angular clients, the Rust core, IdentityServer and API back-end for password, SSO, passkey
• Collaborate across teams to design, document, and communicate forward-looking authentication
• Provide timely, thorough code reviews and triage/resolve community and customer bugs.
• Update core dependencies to maintain secure, stable supply chains.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong skills in Rust and Angular; experience integrating Rust with WASM and UNIFFI bindings.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, WebAuthn; knowledge of modern web authentication concepts.
• Excellent technical writing and clear communication; attention to detail in secure development.
• Experience with Angular/.NET is a plus; open to working with Claude/LLMs.
• Open source mindset and passion for internet security.
• Ability to work in a distributed, remote team and adapt to collaborative environments.
