Senior Software Engineer II - Billing Engineering

📋 Description

• Triage escalated tickets (billing/taxes); second-line for customers; first-line for internal.
• Automate tooling for billing and customer management to cut costs and time-to-resolution.
• Own core billing ops: credits, promotions, tax regions, vendor ledgers, refunds, month-end.
• Develop automation tooling to improve internal billing and customer ops.
• Collaborate with architecture and cloud ops to improve platform stability.
• Build revenue assurance tooling and synthetic tests to prevent leaks.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in Go, with Ruby a plus.
• Experience with distributed systems and multi-service deployments.
• Hands-on with microservices and Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC, MySQL, Redis.
• Scripting and automation: Python, Shell.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
