Senior Software Engineer - k6 Core

📋 Description

• Remote opportunity focused on k6 core tooling and distributed testing support
• Work on features across the k6 codebase and cloud offerings, with emphasis on performance and
• Collaborate with a small team, deliver production-quality Go code, and participate in code reviews
• Maintain and improve open-source k6 and related Grafana tooling
• Contribute to design decisions, consider trade-offs, and implement pragmatic solutions
• Impactful work with global users and distributed systems across data centers

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building production software in Go or other concurrency-friendly language
• Experience with larger codebases and long-lived projects
• Ability to work independently on scoped problems to completion
• Clear technical communication, especially in code reviews and design discussions
• Understanding of internet protocols (HTTP, gRPC, WebSockets) and networking concepts
• Experience with modern dev practices: testing, code review, iterative development
