📋 Description

• Design and deliver improvements to Wikipedia's wikitext processing infrastructure with focus on UX
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, client teams, and community members on new
• Write PHP and JavaScript supporting many languages and web services for content rendering and
• Build and maintain internet APIs with server-side scripting
• Instrument components to monitor feature quality and performance
• Leverage caching and persistence technologies to optimize workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience with parser generators, interpreters, language runtimes, compilers, or language feature
• Ability to own complex projects from problem definition to delivery; strong architectural decision
• Experience designing reliable, performant components used by many users
• Strong practices: unit/integration tests, security, code reviews, architectural tradeoffs
• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage technical dependencies
