Senior Software Engineer — Python and UI experience is a must

📋 Description

• Own the job orchestration platform: queue-based scheduling, dispatch, workflows.
• Design and maintain Python APIs using threaded and async services.
• Enhance UrlProtection with headless browser automation, WHOIS, and time of click.
• Maintain a large TypeScript/Vue SPA for operator and customer UX.
• Manage data access: MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB, Consul, URL cache.
• Handle builds and deployments: Cython, Docker multi-stage, CI/CD, multi-VM Docker Compose.
• Troubleshoot production issues: queues, workflow failures, stuck jobs, API and deploy issues.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews to uphold standards.
• Collaborate across teams to boost scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years software engineering; BS in CS/Engineering; or 6+ with MS; or 3+ with PhD.
• Strong Python with multithreading and async (asyncio, aiohttp, FastAPI).
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Celery or Taskiq/Redis for distributed tasks; reliability.
• Web APIs with Flask or FastAPI; knowledge of WSGI/uWSGI and Nginx deployments.
• Frontend JS/TS with Vue or React or Angular; modern build and deploy tooling.
• Proficient with MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB, and Consul.
• Docker, Docker Compose; CI/CD (Jenkins); Debian packaging; Python extensions.
• Linux experience: troubleshooting, logs, shell scripting on Ubuntu/Debian.
• Strong written communication; able to work in distributed async teams.
