Senior Software Engineer (Rust)

📋 Description

• Own desktop autofill and native OS integrations (SSH agent, Autotype, native passkeys, DuckDuckGo)
• Develop and evolve the shared Rust SDK with language bindings and FFI
• Interface with Windows, macOS, and Linux OS APIs for reliable native behavior
• Improve performance, security, and reliability of native integrations handling sensitive data
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and Autofill teams to deliver end-to-end experiences
• Review PRs and contribute to code quality and architecture

🎯 Requirements

• Strong production Rust experience (4-6+ years) with backend/systems focus
• Experience with FFI and language bindings
• Native desktop app experience on Windows/macOS/Linux
• Designing/versioning cross-platform SDKs or shared libraries
• Bonus: Electron, TypeScript, and web tech for cross-platform desktop apps
• Collaborative, authentic communication and problem-solving skills
