Senior Software Engineer (YDB Team)

📋 Description

• Develop and optimize YDB components for modern hardware (QLC NVMe, high-bandwidth NICs, DPUs).
• Improve performance across storage tech (HDDs, TLC NVMe).
• Reengineer system components with efficient algorithms for scalability and reliability.
• Design high-performance, low-latency components for production systems.
• Analyze system behavior to identify bottlenecks using profiling and debugging.
• Work on distributed storage and database infrastructure for AI and cloud workloads.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in C or C++ for performance-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of CPU caches, atomic ops, and NUMA.
• Proven experience delivering high-performance, low-latency software.
• Ability to investigate complex production issues using core dumps, flame graphs, and sanitized
• Strong systems programming and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with on-disk data structures like LSM trees or B+ trees is a plus.
