Senior Software Engineer (YDB Team)

📋 Description

• Develop and optimize YDB components for modern hardware (NVMe, DPUs, high-bandwidth networks).
• Improve performance across HDD/TLC NVMe storage technologies.
• Reengineer system components with efficient algorithms for scalability and reliability.
• Design high-performance, low-latency software for production systems.
• Analyze behavior and identify bottlenecks via profiling and debugging.
• Work on distributed storage and DB infra for AI and cloud workloads.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in C/C++ for high-load, performance-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of CPU caches, atomics, NUMA.
• Proven experience building high-performance, low-latency software.
• Ability to investigate production issues using core dumps, flame graphs, sanitized builds.
• Strong systems programming and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with on-disk data structures (LSM/B+ trees) is a plus.
