Senior Software Engineer (YDB Team)

📋 Description

• Work on highly scalable infrastructure powering AI and cloud workloads.
• Contribute to an open-source distributed database and storage platform.
• Focus on low-level systems, distributed computing, and high-performance C++ engineering.
• Leverage modern hardware: high-speed networking, NVMe storage, data accelerators.
• Collaborate with global engineers to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Own engineering challenges end-to-end from design to production deployment.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in C or C++ for performance-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of CPU caches, atomic ops, and NUMA.
• Experience building high-performance, low-latency software.
• Ability to investigate complex issues with core dumps, flame graphs, sanitized builds.
• Linux systems programming and optimization; experience with SPDK/DPDK, libaio, io_uring is
• Familiarity with storage tech (NVMe, HDD) and networking (IP/TCP/UDP); InfiniBand/RDMA a plus.
