Senior Software Engineer (YDB Team)

📋 Description

• Develop and optimize YDB components for modern hardware
• Improve performance across storage techs incl. HDDs and NVMe
• Reengineer system components for scalability and reliability
• Design high-perf, low-latency components for production systems
• Analyze behavior; identify bottlenecks with profiling & debugging
• Work on distributed storage and DB infra for AI/cloud workloads

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in C or C++ for perf-critical systems
• Strong low-level systems concepts (CPU caches, NUMA)
• Proven high-perf, low-latency software experience
• Bug investigation using core dumps, flame graphs, sanitized builds
• Systems programming & optimization with bottleneck diagnosis
• Experience with LSM/B+ trees is a plus
