Senior Software Engineer (YDB Team)

📋 Description

• Develop and optimize YDB components for modern hardware (QLC NVMe, high-bandwidth networks, DPUs)
• Improve performance across HDDs and TLC NVMe devices
• Reengineer system components with efficient algorithms for scalability and reliability
• Design high-performance, low-latency software for production systems
• Analyze system behavior and identify bottlenecks with profiling and debugging
• Work on distributed storage and database infrastructure for AI/cloud workloads

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years C or C++ in high-load, performance-critical systems
• Strong understanding of CPU caches, atomic ops, NUMA
• Proven experience in high-performance, low-latency software
• Investigate production issues via core dumps, flame graphs, sanitized builds
• Strong systems programming and performance optimization skills
• Experience with on-disk data structures (LSM/B+ trees) is a plus
