Senior Solutions Engineer, Aerospace & Defense

📋 Description

• Customer engagement and sales support to drive account growth and retention
• Onsite visits with customers when appropriate
• Identify and address manufacturing challenges (including DFM)
• Provide project management and oversight on complex opportunities
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Pre-Sales to compile competitive quotes
• Maintain awareness of upcoming customer projects to align with capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in aerospace/defense engineering and manufacturing roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience using Xometry’s services from a customer or partner perspective
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, drawings and GD&T
• Experience in CNC machining; composites, plastics, harnesses and sheet metal fab a bonus
• Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100d, ITAR, NIST and related compliance
