Senior Solutions Engineer, Aerospace & Defense

📋 Description

• Customer-facing engineer supporting Sales in aerospace & defense
• Blend of customer engagement, technical expertise, and project management
• Onsite visits with customers when appropriate
• Identify manufacturing challenges and drive successful project delivery
• Align customer projects with Xometry capabilities and partner knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in aerospace/defense engineering and manufacturing
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience using Xometry services from a customer perspective
• Strong familiarity with aerospace suppliers and OEMs (e.g., Lockheed Martin, SpaceX)
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles, drawings, and GD&T
• Strong CNC machining experience; composites, plastics, harnesses, sheet metal fab are bonuses
