Senior Spectroscopy Scientist (NMR)

📋 Description

• Provide laboratory support in ssNMR data collection and interpretation for pharmaceutical materials
• Apply ssNMR to characterize crystalline and non-crystalline APIs, excipients, intermediates, and
• Use quantitative ssNMR methods to measure API and product components
• Plan and perform experiments with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with Materials Science to define characterization strategies
• Contribute to development of new scientific approaches and knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• Ph.D. in chemistry or related field with ssNMR expertise or BA/MS with 2-3+ years ssNMR experience
• Experience with ssNMR sample prep, data acquisition, and 1D/2D spectra interpretation
• Experience with solid-state characterization techniques (XRD, DSC, TGA, microscopy, spectroscopy)
• Vibrational spectroscopy knowledge (FTIR, NIR, FT-Raman) a plus
• Strong data analysis, good organization, independence, plus excellent communication
• Interest in learning new technologies and concepts
